This weekend I am finally geting some "maternity pictures" taken. It wasn't the brightest idea to wait until I was 9 months pregnant to do this. My cute little "baby bump" has developed into a basketball. I had every intention of getting them done sooner, but when you are both on staff at a large church and have over 100 jr. high and high school students that you mentor and pour your life into, free weekend schedules are just not very common. Me and Seth are working on finding a better balance now that we are starting a family.
Anyway, so here are some pics I took last night for my dad. I have 4 weeks to go which means as of this Friday I will be in my ninth month! The Dr says that we are measuring perfectly, and should be right on time.
My favorite part of the day is coming home from work/church/outings and putting on my baggy Victoria's Secret sweats and a comfy shirt.

Randoms - 5 Weeks till D-day!
Just some recent randoms... these were taken when I had six weeks left... now I'm down to five!
This is my office at the main branch which is where I work from on Mondays and Tuesdays. Wednesdays and Thursdays I'm at the Centralia Branch. This is more or less what I stare at all day! (and yes I use both computers... most of the time I use them at the same time)

6 weeks left!!!
First off, I PROMISE I will try to take some pictures this weekend. With a belly as big as mine, it's not easy to be motivated enough to take pictures of it! =) Although, I do have an AMAZING new Digital SLR Camera to play with... so that might help!
After a long and hard search, I divinely stumbled upon the perfect diaper bag.
It’s been a debate in my head to go for the more baby boyish colors and appearance or to just go with something I would enjoy carrying around. Well, while shopping in
I was so excited about finding it... still am actaully! I kept it laying around the house for a few days, but after some intense Braxton Hicks that I had all day yesterday, I decided I should go ahead and pack it… just in case. =)
Washing the first round of Malakai’s clothes is next on the list, along with putting the finishing touches on his room.
I am huge… or what I like to call “in full bloom”! Thankfully the weather has finally warmed up into the 50’s so I can pull out some new spring inspired tops, sun dresses, ballet flats and flip flops. Dressing for cold weather is not fun, comfortable or practical for a woman in her 8th month of pregnancy. So we are down to 6 weeks... and counting. A lot of the "moms" in my life seem to think that I will go earlier than that... but we shall see. As long as he is a strong and healthy boy, I don't care when he comes! I'm ready to see his precious face and to embark on this great adventure!
Our new Petunia Pickle Bottom diaper bag...
I just can't leave this one out either... Since I'm on the topic. Right when I first found out that I was pregnant I stumbled upon a "Baby Rebe" diaper bag and bought it. It was refreshing that early on to know that trendy BUT unique diaper bags were available. These diaper bags usually go for around $200, but I got mine for A LOT less than that. I LIVE for deals! It isn't as big and practical as the Petunia Pickle Bottom, but it is so cute and has a lot of character. It's a fun floral pattern with little characters and animal figurines attached by a plastic patch. (see the picture) Ours isn't this same exact one. It has red, black and blue flowers and the same kind of little people attached to it along with a little dinosaur figurine. (I didn't know we were having a boy when I bought it.) Although it will be the "stand-by" diaper bag, we will get plenty of use out of it before it's all said and done.
